Intramural Sports
Intramurals are a great way to meet new people, work out, and blow off some steam. VCU offers a wide range of intramural sports that vary depending on season. Getting a team together is easy, and usually costs about 5$ or less per person. Looking up the sports for the season is available on the VCU rec sport website. Once you have found a sport that you are interested in, you can pick up a sign-up form from the gym and they will email you with the times that your team is scheduled to play. You are also given the option to sign up for more or less competitive leagues. The city of Richmond also offers local recreational sports…but for a price. 60$ per person will get you and your team a spot in one of the social leagues with River City Sports.
